Voices - Poetry Pulse

Dance, I told you to.

Cry, like you're supposed to do.

Run, because in the end,

it's coming for you...

when you

drip, drop, dance, flop

scan, read, screen

all that gasoline

like it's new.

Projectiles scream, right?

Hurricanes swim...but, you know, only at night.

Sharks bite.

You fight.

C'mon, now, it's all black and white

when you

skip, hop, fly

wish, hope, and try

all those echoes

like it's old.

Bigger than your body and...

colder than bones.

Just...who is in control?

The voices...won't leave us alone.
